This is to update you on our testing of oil intervals when using Temp-A-Start Systems on our tractors. We have completed three tractors with the system. We monitor the oil through oil analysis that tells us the contaminates. Normally we see the contaminate build up at approximately 12,000 miles which forces us to change oil in order to keep the warranty. With Temp-A-Start we have now completed 22,999 miles and find the contaminates below the old 12,000 miles levels.

We are now taking two new actions: 1.) Take a new fleet of tractors and do the testing from day one and 2.) work with the engine manufacturer to get them to support the increased oil interval. These actions will reduce our operating costs now and maybe we can get the engine manufacturer to extend his warranty coverage. I think it is reasonable to get another 100,000 miles under warranty. That will really save us money because we can extend our trade cycle up one year.
