Dear Gentlemen:
I have had a Temp-A-Start System on my CRST truck fo the past 2 years. The only problem I have encountered, which occurred after one year, was that the in-line fuse holder on the main control center of the Temp-A-Start System broke and had to be replaced. Once this was done the system again functioned normally. Most recently I was on medical leave and upon returning to my job and my truck I found the Temp-A-Start to be non-operational. I stopped in at your factory to have the system checked out. I found to my satisfaction, as well as your head engineers, that during my absence someone had by-passed the system. Upon removal of the by-pass, Temp-A-Start again operated with no other problems.
One of the things I like the most about the Temp-A-Start is the engine mode. In the past 2 years I have never had to have a service call for a non-start condition. I also enjoy the shutdown system for the following reason: Many times I have to leave the truck thinking I'll be returning in only a few minutes only to find that I've been delayed. I do not have to return to my truck to shut it down, as I know Temp-A-Start will do it for me. I've also enjoyed the fun that I have had teasing the DOT Inspectors. With the Temp-A-Start system installed, the truck will shut off with no one in it, and the key in the ON position. It will then re-start with no one in it, getting a rise out of the DOT Inspector before I explain the operation of the system to him.
I've really enjoyed your product and know that my engine idle time is much lower than it was prior to using Temp-A-Start. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your product to any of my fellow drivers, and do in fact talk of it frequently at the truck stops.
I would like to thank all of the Temp-A-Start employees who have been so kind and courteous both on the phone and in person. I will keep in contact with you regarding the performance of my system.
Sincerely,

Art Meyer
